I need a very big amp. between 2000 and 2500 watts D class true power and need to know where i could get a good deal on one?

I really need a big amp. no more than 2000-2500 true power D class amp. for my 15" L7 solo baric. Name brands such as Hifonics (Zeus Series), audiobahn, rockford, etc. Anyone know where i could get a good deal on one.
Thanks.

i've never heard of one single amp that puts out that much power. i could be wrong though. what i recommend is to get two amps that have rca outputs as well as inputs so that you can strap them together. kicker has these type of amps and are also class d. if you strap two mono 1200.1 amps together, that's a total of 2400 watts.

Just be sure not to blow up that cool sub!

Just browse around dude...good deals!

holy crap, what kind of alt/bat setup are you gonna have to look at to run that earthquake amp...thats crazy stuff.

No kidding Derek, I haven't seen a single amp put out that much power since ... well ever. Class D technology may be dirty sound but it sure is efficient.

Think it would make my headlights dim? *laffs*

earthquake makes a bunch of high powered stuff. i guess they made this amp because their subs are so damn power hungry. in any case ryan, that amp is way too much power for your single solo baric. hey motoman, i'd be impressed if your headlights turned on in the first place. lol

HEY!! MAYBE YOU COULD JUST GET A CAP!!! AND THEN YOU WOULDNT HAVE ANY DIMMING AT ALL!!! IT WOULD SOLVE EVERYTHING!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :)

I KNOW!!!!

Isn't it cool that caps can make power! I'm just not sure if I prefer the 'mother earth' powered caps or the nuclear powered caps are better.

Do you prefer the 9mm caps or the 10mm caps? I'm thinking that the glasscaps work best. Want to get together sometime to bust a few and watch the game?

I've got to go put a new powerband in my 4-stroke dirtbike so I'll be back later...

disclaimer:

Derek and I are kidding, caps don't fix power problems..they just provide a quick-dump surge for more responsive bass.

Please don't remove your battery or alternator and replace with caps. If you ask for a 9mm cap at the store, you will get laughed at.

...but I do need some help replacing this powerband *laffs*

percision power amps are good to use..my dad gots a setup on his explorer of 2 JL 15"s with a 2400w amp..and then another amp pushing his little speakers..pretty good sh!t..

Dominic L.
but it could cost u..he said he paid like $1000 for that amp..

Dominic L.
but I myself with with a much cheaper amp for $200 it pushes 800 RMS on 2 ch for 2 10" audiobahn excursions

Audiobahn A18001DT puts out 1800 rms mono @ 1 ohm.
After that you have the A5000SPL putting out 5000 rms @ 1 ohm. But thats probably 2 much. I know ofnothing between that from Auiobahn.

yeah, that would be pretty humerous if someone went out and bought a bunch of caps to solve their problem, and rather than help anything, make it worse, because in most cases where the alt is lacking, a cap makes the power setup worse and can be more of a hinderance than help at all.

I have two solo Baric 15 what is the best amp for these
