well, there's an amp with almost the same properties except the HIGH END quality, but alpine PDX 1000.1 can save you like 150-200$.

Another one is PG xenon 1200.1 built like a tank but hard to find.

Sundown SAE1000D.

They're like $350 shipped from a good dealer. Talk to Kevin Holden from Low-Hz and he could sling you a good deal.

The JL slash series have regulated output, meaning they do the same power at 1.5-4 ohms. The amps juliob listed are also.

The JLs also have regulated power supplies, meaning the do the same power at 11-14 volts.

Pretty much, the JL 1000/1 will do 1000w no matter what.

means it puts out the same wattage from a certain ohm range, the jl does 1000 watts from 1.5-4 ohms, no matter what load your at, in my opinion its is sort of a sucker deal when u buy the w7 cuz they are usually single 3 ohm, and in order to get a thousand watts at 3 ohms, your going ot have to spend some money, you could try gettin that kicker amp that is 1500 at 2 ohms, that would work nice

Actually ~750w is optimal for a 12W7. For a 13W7 it's 1000w

Thats what I was thinking^^^^^

So the PG X600.1 would be a good match.

^^^^ why would you recommend those amps when he has a 3 ohm sub (W7)

Those amps will not have good output at 3 ohm
