1990 Cadi DeVille stock all the way. Can anyone tell me how to figure out how many amps the stock alt puts out. I believe its 120 but still i want to know how to find out. I have a volt meter but i didn't know if that would do any good. if not, what do i need?

It is 120 amps. Remember though, idle amperage will be significantly less.

My 89 Eldorado also has a 120 amp alternator. Will I have to upgrade to a 200 amp alt or just do the Big 3 and a fresh yellow in the trunk or should I just do the 3 and a fresh yellow ? Running a ZX 1500 and a ZX 650.4.

Yellow tops are not the best for car audio by any means. But you don't even need to worry about the battery, it will do fine.

HO alternator and big 3 will probably be needed.

120 amps is big for a stock alt though, you could try it and see what happens.

Dude, your name would make me think that you own a shop, but I really hope you don't, knowing this little about car audio.

^I thought the same thing when he first came here but I don't think he owns a shop either haha. The big 3 is just changing out your charging systems wiring to a thicker gauge. Alternator to battery positive, alt case to chassis, battery negative to chassis.
