I'm going to be buying 2 "15" Kicker Solo-Baric L7s soon, and it says it can handle

"2000 watts max power handling"
"1000 Watts RMS power handling"

And i was thinking about buying 2 Brutus BXi 2006D for each of them, What do you guys think?
Yes?
No?
Shut up noob and go away?
I'm very open minded. :]

-Thanks!

Well, no. I have heard nothing but negative remarks regarding the square woofers. Whats your price range and sound preference (sq,sql, spl) and we'll see if there is something better out there for you.

Hmm, Like i said, I'm still learning.
I guess a mix between sq and spl. haha, If there is such a thing.

I was thinking about getting a fi btl 18'
But it's just so pricey.
I'm willing to pay alitle over 1grand.
The btl would have cost close to 2.

SQ and SPL is SQL. Thats a good price range to work with, is that just for sub and amp, or is it for the whole system? Meaning head unit, front speakers, box, wiring, possible high output alternator.

Oh, Thank you for telling me that, i learned something. haha.
I already got the front speakers, head unit.
The 1grand will go to everything else,
Like, I want a 200amp alternator, and I'll get the box and wiring as i buy the subs.

But I'm trying to figure out what subs i should get.

I've never heard a kicker l7 15' in person, but i read some good/bad things about it.

I don't even plan on competing or anything, I want these for daily use.
Just a toy for me. :]

The kicker seemed more in my price range, and seemed to put out alright.

All i was really curious about was if i got 2 Brutus BXi 2006D for both of them, would it blow them?
And is that a good enough amp?

It says it puts out 2000 watts, And that the kickers can take 2000watts a piece.

I just dont wanna over power, or underpower.

Well the woofers are 1000w RMS, and that amp will probably push about 1600w RMS do to the fact that it's over rated.

Peak/dynamic/maximum power don't mean jack. Always look for the RMS/continual/nominal power because that is the real power.

The L7 is an spl woofer, built for lots of output, but it has horrid sound quality from what I hear.

Those amps would work for those woofers, but you would have to keep the gain down. With that much power you will need a HO alt and probably another battery.

Personally, I wouldn't get an L5 or L7.

Okay, Well what do you suggest?
I plan on getting a 200amp alternator soon anyway, I don't know much about the batterys. But what type Sub would you go for?

If you want something that will get loud and sound good for a similar price, check out the Resonant Engineering SX. From what I have read, they are phenomenal speakers and they are similar in price range.

For more help on subs, trying posting in the sub forum. You'll get tons of responses and lots of knowledge.

Okay, Thanks for all your help man.
:]
But just for future reference, Would a 200amp alternator be enough for 1500 - 4000 watts ?
I don't want my Jeep to die or anything, haha.

And what type of batterys are the best quality ?

200 amp alternator would be good, but more is better if you can get it.

And yeah get some other subs
