hey... I just had a question about Sony Xplod amps. I kno sony does not have the best reputation for amps but i hooked up my 2- 12's Infinity 1230w subs to a sony xplod amp which has 800w max and 200w rms.
the subs are 1200max and 300rms
Will i have trouble running this amp to these subs??

kj... i have nearly the same set up as you, i have the same subs in a sealed box but as for the amp i have a sony xmd1000p5, puts out 900w RMS by there rating, i have the speakers wired in parallel so each sub gets 450w RMS (suposably). the subs sound good for me but i wouldnt want an amp with any less power than that for those subs, you wouldnt get the right SQ or SPL from them
