here's what i know, which isn't much.
a/b = less efficient, some say sounds better for subs, larger frequency range.

d = more efficient, smaller frequency range (i think eclipse makes full range d class amps though).

Not sure myself. How about give us a budget and how many watts you need at what ohm, and from there I am sure someone can point you in the right direction.

This is from Rockford Fosgate.

(Rockford Fosgate bd amps)

Rockford fosgate bd topology is a patented design integrating a technology that is more efficient than typical class AB and has lower distortion than class D designs. Rockford Fosgate Power bd amplifiers are 75%-80% efficient vs. 20%-60% efficient class AB amplifiers.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks Joey. Im not really sure yet what I want exactly. I am debating on getting 2 more concepts like a have now (4 total) and then ill need a 1000rms at either .5 ohms or 2 ohms. Or I was considering a some type r's or maybe an X. Just sold my alpine mrp-m650 amp and waitng to sell everything else. Im selling a rockford p6002 amp, 4 12" concept (2 sets a lil diff.) and a 12" type s. So once as thats all gone im buying all new. I know its all somewhat entry level equipment, but if anyones interested let me know.

SomedonnieDude, you should get a class D amp when it comes to subs, for 1000w rms you can get a kicker zx1000 or a jbl gto1201.1, both will do the job with good efficiency.
