I'm curious what the consensus is on Phoenix Gold and PPI amps. I just found this site earlier today, and have read a lot of threads, but haven't read anything regarding these brands, which I have heard are of very high quality. Any input?
PPI amps are awesome. Very reliable amps, and solid power from them. Phoenix Gold's amps are nice too, but PPI is better. As far as speakers and subwoofers, Phoenix Gold are pretty good, but there are others that have impressed me a lot more.
I haven't really looked much at the PG speakers and subs. I currently have MB Quart Q-series components and 6x9's and love them. Still looking into subs, but really love JL's. I asked about these 2 amps though, because I have a friend looking to sell me his PG titanium series 400.2 for pretty cheap, and it made me start thinking about what others had to say about the brands.
