im considering purchasinng an mats amp , but i notice that the imput voltage is 150mv to 2.5v. Does this mean that i cannot give the amp a signal exceeding 2.5volt.
can i use a line driver or processor that has an output of more than 2.5volts?
That's correct you could not send it a preamp signal higher than 2.5 volts.
Personally I would never buy an amp the couldn't take more than that level, it's just stupid to design it like that, and is probably an indicator of the quality also.
