ok so my car has 8 speakers... 2 tweeters, 2 6x9s , 2 5.25 door speakers, and 2 5.25 rear deck speakers. i am in the process of buying (4) Infinity Reference 5012i and (2) of either Infinity Kappa 693.7i or Infinity Kappa 692.7i and i have tweeters that are 300watt max/100watt rms. i'm looking for a cheap but good quality amp. i wanna run about 100watts per speaker. but i dont get how to make a 4 channel amp power 8 speakers. please help.
figured i would keep it all in one thread. I'm also getting (1) Cerwin Vega Stroker. (i was told they were good... r they?) What amp would be best to buy for that? looking for an amp that gets about 1500-2000 RMS watts. keep it as cheap as possible as well lol.
You need to invest in a good crossover for the tweeters and door speakers. That way, they both can be powered by one amp. Then use 2nd amp for the rears or use 4 channel amp. Look at MTX/Audiobahn DUB series for budget sub amp.
