Are the power wires ran on the same side as the remote and rca wires?

Hey,

This is a very common problem with these units. The large coil in the power supply circuit is the cause. The high pitch noise is being induced by the coil. Once the unit gets warmed up, the noise will stop just like you have described.

The easy fix for this problem, if you are comfortable doing it, is to take a non-conductive tool and separate the 8 wires coming off of the coil. This needs to be done while the unit is powered and making the noise. By adjusting their placement you can eliminate the noise.

I know that this sounds crazy, but it will fix your problem. Please shoot me an email if I can help you any further.
