Hey guys, im new here, hopefully i will be around for a while...

anyways here is my situation..

Ive got a 10w7, and a 500/1 amp, i am waiting around until i can find a good deal on a HO box, they are pretty hard to find without the sub, anyways so right now its installed with a shitty sealed just normal square box... Anyways can someone tell me the best settings for the parametric equalizer... when i got it installed i told the idiots down at the shop ( i dont trust them) to just turn it on the safe side (blew my alpine type R 1 day earlier) anyways so the guy just said "Everythings at half"

i never really looked so i dont know what the three are actually on... Can anyone tell me what the loudest/cleanest (i know its probably a trade off) is for my setup.. if im not mistaken the 10w7 can take the 500/1 in full load <-- not sure if thats the right phrase....

anyways thanks for any help you guys can give me...

You need an RTA to properly tune an EQ....... they probably meant all settings are flat meaning the EQ is not doing anything.
