New member Username: MarpidPost Number: 2 Registered: May-07 | The unit was working great-then all the lights went out. It still played cd's and radio I just couldn't see what I was playing. Then the volume got stuck up loud and none of the buttons will work so I pressed the reset button. Only problem is now I need to reset the security code-but the lights are still out so I can't see what mode I'm in or anything. Any ideas??? Help!!! |

New member Username: MilitaryxxoPost Number: 1 Registered: May-08 | I had this same issue with mine, not sure how familiar you are with electronics but if you open up your head unit and take the cd player portion you'll find 2 flex ribbons. One going to the cd play and one to the face plate. Replace the one to the head unit cause odds are it got pinched and broke the leads in the ribbon.You can buy a new ribbon and they are really easy to replace. Where i got mine was www.partsource.com. The part number is printed on the ribbon. Its j84-0093-03 |
