I hope everybody is doing great. I just have a quick question.

I have two 8 ohm speakers that i need to hook up to a 4 ohm amp. The amp is a Alpine MRP-F240. It can be bridged to 100Watts RMSx2 at 4 ohms, but to get the speakers to 4 ohms i need to hook them up in parrelel. My question is can i hook the speakers in parrelel for a 4ohm load, and then hook the two stereo outputs in parrelel to create a 200 Watt, 4 ohm output to hook to my speakers in parrelel?

Thanks

You can do it, but not that way.

Your amp should have 4 speaker terminals, + and - for each channel. Wire both speakers in parallel to the + and - terminals designated for bridging. When bridging the amp the other two terminals are unused.
