Yes, extremely likely.

What size is your stock alternator?

I would say probably yes. Lanzar Opti series are known for being inefficient.

But the only way to tell for sure is to crank up your system and measure your battery voltage with a DMM. If it drops below 12 volts, you need an HO alternator.

"Lanzar Opti series are known for being inefficient".

It depends on the model M.S, optidriven knows a lot about this subject, maybe he can post some good info about that, to clear some minds.

Big Dog, try getting a 200A HO alt. From iraggi, nate or any place. Big 3+good batteries and you're done

I own lanzar and i have an advice for you. That vibe 416 is not a good amp. Maybe you should benchtest it and see how many watts you're getting from it, and then buy some components matching the amp.

I have a new stock alternator right now that puts out 105A.How much does a 200A HO alternator cost ? I have these amps but i can buy new ones but i don't want to spend over $450 though. I need a mono amp that pushes two Pioneer 400 RMS each at 2 ohms.

the 4 chan. I will need at least 100 watts Rms at 4 ohms and 1000 peak watts. If anyone has any suggestions about improving my curent amp, it would be great.
