I blew my Orion 2500D before I left, and now I need a new amp. I'd like 1000+ watts to each Eclipse Ti I have. I was thinking either a two, or one amp setup. I'm going more for budget here... I was thinking two of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ROCKFORD-FOSGATE-PUNCH-P325-1-AMPLIFIER-NEW_W0QQitemZ3301066 00506QQihZ014QQcategoryZ64570QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
My Friend says his birth sheet for his two are upwards of 1000 watts...

Or two of these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ROCKFORD-FOSGATE-900-WATT-MONO-PUNCH-AMPLIFIER-NEW-2005_W0QQ itemZ250104840584QQihZ015QQcategoryZ64570QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Any input is greatly welcomed.

(I'm tempted to do a major upgrade and go with a T40001bd)

Jake. What's your budget?

If you're looking for decent power and quality, PM kevin holden. He can hook you up a massive audio p3000.1, Cadence or sundown audio.

If you can find a rockford t2000 is also great.

That's weird man.. you asking for advice lol!

Yea, he sent me a picture of the damn thing too. Crazy sh!t. And yea, I'm asking for advice! I'm looking for some options. Orion 2500D is my preference, but it seems like they're a bit hard to find.

And a T40001bd would be sweet, but expensive and a little difficult...

Thanks bro.

Thanks Juliob :-) Jake, if you want a nice strong amp, the new RD Audio 3250 would be a strong amp to run on them, and should be in this week. I can save you a little money on a preorder as well. For budget, the Massive Audio would be a nice way to go for sure. Email me if interested.

Jake, if you do a "major upgrade," you'll have some fun. T40001BD is NO joke. If you're going to upgrade your alternator, get an extra battery, heavy gauge wiring, once you get the RF and with your Ti subs, your system will be pretty sick and won't have to worry about any electrical strain. Or do you already have all that upgraded? lol

Jon: how much? If the price is right...

Oleg: you obviously don't know me... I have plenty, trust me :D. I planned on running a 5kw+ setup some time. I've been around for awhile...

Ok, cool. So I'm not sure exactly what your budget is, but those amps you posted links to - i don't think they'll do your eclipses justice. What's the budget anyway?

You have 2 subs, right Jake? You said you wanted 1000W+ per sub and that's what you'll be getting with that amp.

JAke, those RF T line are very underrated. 2000BD puts like 2800w rms, so it's basically a replacement of the Orion you had.

Yeah, with the Rockford Power series amps, they underrate them so much that you can basically take the rating, add 500, and that's the MINIMUM you'll get from it.

How about the Soundstream PCA 3500D for a BUDGET amp until I get the time to put in a T40001BD?

Do not get that amp if you're planning to run at 1 ohm. I don't feel like finding all the threads on various forums about it, but those amps are known to blow quickly when run at 1 ohm. The rest of the PCA series is fine, it's something about the 3500s. One guy who bought one talked to SS tech support and they don't even recommend running that amp at 1 ohm anymore due to all the problem they've been having.
