I plan on getting the Infinity Kappa Perfects, which require 400RMS each (800RMS total). What amp do you think will statisfy this the best will the best cost as well?

The perfects come in dual 4ohm or a single 4ohm, which one would be better to get too?

I would suggest a Kicker zx750.1 with two single 4ohm Perfects.

and if I buy the single 4ohm Perfects I can wire them to a 2ohm load and the amp will put out the 750 watt RMS?

Do you think that the Infinity Kappa Perfects can handle the Kicker zx1000.1 (1000 RMS watts)?

The pair of Perfects RMS is only rated at 800 watts total, however, the peak power is 1600 watts EACH.

Should I go with the Kicker zx1000.1 or stick with the zx750.1?

Stick to the 750. That thing will be pumping close to 900rms as it is. Kicker under-rates their amps.

Peak power means absolutely nothing in car audio.

Kicker ZX750.1 would be a great amp for those subs, as mentioned above.

Also, if you're on a very strict budget, Audiobahn A8000T is a proven to do rated power.

""Should I go with the Kicker zx1000.1 or stick with the zx750.1?"

Bonus power is rarely a bad thing. If you can afford the 1000 I say get it.
You can always dial the gain back if you think the subs are stressing.

Better yet, use the volume control.

yea, but if u get zx1000.1 ull have to get a bigger battery/better alt and if your like me and have existing 4awg grnd/power wire, then ull have to upgrade to 1/0awg, so it all depends on how much ur willing to put into it i guess.

Not entirely true.. you'll need the upgrade if you run test tones and things like that. If not you're fine. Also.. Gain is something to be used.. lol

I actually am going to get the Kicker ZX1000.1, but I'm not using them for the Perfects anymore.

I'm going to buy a Fi Q15 d1, and run all 1000wrms into it.
