I'm probably getting two subwoofer. I need to get an amp for that sub. Help me out cause I have no clue what I'm trying to look for.

Sub Spec
-400Watt RMS each sub
-single voice coil
-4ohms

I don't wanna get 400W X 2 amp cause those are so expensive. Is there any other way to wire my 2 sub and get at least 300W power with cheaper sub?

if u get two subs, that means u need an 800wrms x 1.
u can wire it in parallel an get it at 2 ohms
or in a series and get it aat 8 ohms, but u wanna do parallel.

Also, If I wire these two subs to one mono amp with 2 ohms that produce 300W X 1 @ 2Ohms, Do I get 300W on both of my subs or 150w each?

I parallel my old system but my amp kept shutting itself down. It was so unstable. Do I need to get bigger power cable? cause I had 10 gauge wire.

yeah def. bigger power cables. 4 gauge this time. most of the time wen u bridge a 2 channel amp, its 4 ohms.. u have single voice coil. wire it in a parallel. that will put it out to 2ohms. find a 1200wrms@2 ohms. thats what ur shooting for right there. nothing else.

I found this 1 x 800w 2ohm for my 2 400W sub. Sub is 4 ohm single coil. If i parallel wire 2 of my sub, I will get 2ohm connection, correct?? If i do this, is this stable?

^^^^^ That's correct

But what amp is it? Just make sure you get a good amp. Some crap brand amps don't even run well at the lowest rated impedence.

I Had 2x Kicker Comp VR's that were 400watts each RMS, and this amp was pushing it more than enough.
