k well i replaced the fuse my amp just blew (JL 500/1) and it was a 60 amp fuse same fuse same ratinga as my old one. but now my subs only stay at one volume and plus when theyre at low volume it sounds like static. any ideas on how to fix this or did i somehow f*uck my amp? :'(

try a bigger fuse don't over do it though. also check your rca inputs if they get in a bind it will cause a leg to come loose in the amp. try moving them around a little bit. if you get your sound then your inputs need to be reconnected to the board. just a few solutions i've found in my time.

allrighty then. i blew the voice coils in my subs (which could explain why my amp blew the fuse). at least i think its the voice coils it sounds like a static/scratching noise. :P thanks for the link Jexx.
