I want a nice amp and sub(s) that could hit deep and rattle my car. I dont want to spend over $400. I know that might buy nothing but do you guys have any suggestions. I already have after market stereo and speaker so should i go with a 4 channel or just go with a 2 or mono just for the sub(s)?? If you could help me out that would be great.

Does that budget include a box? Boxes can get expensive, leave you no more than $200 for amp and subs together.

To save money, go with a sealed pre-fabricated box. I recommend getting kicker comp VRs. They're about $170 shipped on eBay for a pair. You should be ok running the subs with the hifonics bxi606 amp, which is $175 shipped on eBay. You should be happy with that setup for $400. Remember you also need an amp kit to hook it all up.

Another option is to get only 1 CVR 12 or 15 and an amp for it. With the leftover money you should get a custom made ported box built to spec to get maximum output out of it. 1 of those amps should be just enough for those subs, you can get away with giving them about 300W or so, but extra power is always nice.

The setup Joey sent is good, except go with 0/1awg kit, not 4awg. I looked over kx1200.1 owner's manual and they recommend 0/1awg wire.

If i did go with the Pioneer Premier would it sound better than two Kickers CRV. Or would the Pioneer Premier sound better than a Kicker 15" 05S15L5 @ 2 Ohms?

Dam near anything will sound better than a square kicker sub, lol. Avoid those like the plague, they have terrible SQ and build quality.

The system that Joey posted is good for the money.

My friend has a RF amp with two 12" audiobahns and he say it puts out 1800 watts. I need something that can put that out with $400.

You need that? No, you don't. Even though audiobahns have high efficiency, they are power hungry, have lower SQ, and excursion is too low for subs with such a huge surround. Like we've been recommending, your best bet with that budget is kicker subs. If you get the right box, they can have very good output. Don't focus on wattage ratings, they're simply thermal ratings telling you how much heat the subwoofer can dissipate. What's important is how much power's required for the sub to achieve maximum excursion without clipping. You can also try alpine type Rs, which are a bit more expensive and require a bit more power. I have audiobahns in an SPL box, they sound loud, but not very clean and require tons of power.
