alright im picking up a zx1000.1 and ill be running that with a zx350.4, ive got a 1991 chevy pickup w/ a 5.7 v8, i think its like a 115 amp alt. not too sure. anyways, would I need to upgrade the alt? or would a big 3 upgrade work better? ive currently got an optima yellowtop under the hood
thanks, steven

you should be o.k. with your stock alt. if it is 115a and do the big 3, but the ho alt. would never hurt.

thats gonna be close because all kicker amps are underrated also. I would deff do the big 3 like Mike said and see from there. If you have dimming then you know what you have to do.
