hey guys i have a choice between one 15" memphis elv or a jl 12w7 to put into my explorer...any suggestions?

give me some background info on your electrical system? stock im guessing? and what are your preferences of music, and are you looking for SQ (sound quality) or loudness (spl) ? or maybe a nice mix just help me to help you

i have heard both side by side and personally i prefer the W7 especially on the lower end but for the money their not that great

where i live i can afford pretty much any of the memphis or jl's ....my friend is gonna deal with my alt. and electrical...he works at the place called jammin car audio....he sugested a pair of 13w7's or i can git a deal on three 12" rockford-h2's and i have heard one of them and there flippin nastey...but im seriously considering the elv...budget really isnt a prob...and im looking for (spl)...so mabey that will hepl you guys....and are earthquake subs any good?

if you're looking for SPL then grab a memphis mojo 15 and you're done

logan he's deciding between JL and memphis. I'd pick something different but he wants SPL from those brands.

those are the only brands i can get because i really dont like buying things off the internet....and that is what my local car audio place sells....oh yeah how much $ does a 15" mojo run?

i baught the mojo and the amp the guy said would work perfect with it so now they are gonna build my box and amp racks...ill have it back on wednsday...hope it sounds good..thnx guys...oh yeah he said that i shoudl look into a juggernaught sub next....are they any good?
