If you took Jbl's 6000 watt sub amp(x100) and tried to drive 1 6" (or whatever size) driver with 811,000 watts could you drive it hard enough to blow the dust cap off(like the beginning of back to the future)? What would happen if not that?

I would imagine so! That's more than enough power for a giant rock concert!

YES

If it didn't blow the whole cone out then it would just completely melt the voice coil instantly and seize up. In any case you would want a nice fire extinguisher by your side!

Yeah, see if you can make a half-inch tweeter blast 20hz at like 170dB for almost no time at all...

Maybe you could force a 200" subwoofer to put out 50khz at like 180dB or higher.

You could do a lot with that much power... It's not uncommon to see power levels at over 100k watts in SPL competitons though.

That's a 150w/RMS bullet tweeter folks!
Perfect for making your dogs obey! We all want a 50khz tone at 190dB right?

I better get back to my duties! Bye..

Sincerely, Evil Santa
