Hi everyone, Great forum.
Looking to add a 4 ch amp to my system in a 2004 Tahoe.
Here is also what I've done so far..
H.U.: Pioneer DEH-P3800MP, Ipod in the Aux input
Frnt/Rr speakers: Infinity Reference 6012SI 6.5"
Deading Fr/Rr Drs:SecondSkin "Damplifier" 40sq.ft
Looking for an amp in the range of $100-$150.
What does any one think of Lanzar MXA412. I see it at Millionbuy.com for $95. What are some other recomendations.
Also should I plan for a sub and amp later. Not really looking to set any spl records hear. Just looking for a really good family radio :-) while i drive the kid back and forth to practices.
Let me know...
Look forward to any ideas.
Thanks Dean

Thats kinda of where I'm confused. The 6.5's are
rated at 55 watts rms. Everyone keeps telling me to get at least 100 plus per channel? I thought to keep it close to the rated 55 watts? As to not blow them. What are your thoughts.

you dont want to run 150 watts to those speakers they will go POOF!!!!! I would say get a good 50x4 but your budget is very low so whatever you get in that price range is going to be highly overrated so I would look at like 80x4 or so to get 50x4 out of it. lok at this http://cgi.ebay.com/JL-audio-amplifier-300-4_W0QQitemZ110069468348QQihZ001QQcate goryZ4950QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I dont know if ebay is an option for you but you can save a good amount of money on it.
