^^^New orions are overrated...not by much...but overrated...I saw one benched at 2300rms 14.4 so if you dont have an charging system upgrade then good luck seeing that power...

anyway...is there a budget???

yes and no, im willing to pay quite alot but if i can find good quality for cheaper then im all for it. i think i may be able to get a kicker 2500.1 for around 500 bucks, im waiting on his reply to an email, he is local.

i don't think that you will get 3000wrms from the kicker. i have one and the birth sheet said 2883watts. also that amp is only 2 ohm stable, which is okay but you will need to match your subs.

i said around 3000 watts, all the 2500.1s put out over 2500...

the map3000.1 puts out about 2650rms at 2ohms at 12.something volts and puts out 3000 plus or minus some at 14 volts.

its two amps in one. it can be stable at 1ohm per channel, but when bridged it can only be 2ohms.

1500rms x2 at 1ohm
3000rms x1 at 2ohms

that should make it easier to understand. but what your asking for 3000rms x1 at 1ohm, then no.

oh cool, that would work, i dont have the subs yet. im also looking at the big soundstream amps and earthquake amps...
