My friend got this Audiobahn amp with a Kicker L7 when he bought his mustang. He had some JL's in his old car and he kept htem. Well his L7 broke, so he took this amp out and put his old stuff in. Then i fried my amp(dont know how)..but i asked if i could use his for a little bit till i send mine in and get it fixed...he agreed and then he asked me if i wanted tobuy it..he said he wanted 300 for the amp...i dont wanna pay 300..so i figured i'd pay him like 175(cuz its used)..or maybe 200..dont know!

That is a powerful amp. Since it's used, I'd pay $175.
If he wants $300, tell him a brand new 2000w HCT costs around $360.

Yeah i mean i love the amp! its huge and it makes my subs sound really good. The amp is sending ALOTTT of watts to the subs..considering there only 300 rms..haha...but yeah..theres alot there..but they can handle what im sending them. So you'd only pay 175 or go out and buy a 2000w hct. Or are the audiobahns even worth a penny? would i be wasting my money? right now i have a Alipine MRD-M605. I have to send it in...but it didnt really push the subs that hard. So i thoguht bout selling it and buying this amp? would that be dumb?

Audiobahn's HCT models do perform. I've personally tested it. Since it's used I'd pay around $175 or less. Your friend probably doesn't know that for $360, you can get a new 2000w rms amp.
I have one advice for you, do NOT overload that amp. Set the gain/level properly and it'll put out without failing.

I bought a pair of audionbahn aw1571-whatever's,
rated @ 500 rms, 1000w peak.

Not even. Blew them both within a week.
Sent em back to the seller, got a pair of lightning audio's rated the same, and been bumpin em since. The things were actually made of paper.
The amp that blew em was a rf p8002, incidentally.

Maybe their amps are better, I dunno.
But I wouldn't buy that brand again unless I was getting a really good deal.
They've got to be up there with blitz and legacy for over rating.

amps are different. Their subs are cheap SPL.

They can't be compared to legacy and blitz.

Their intake line and some other models do the job and put a lot of power. You just need to know the good models jerome.
