i wanna get a hifonics amp for my friend and i saw that it was refurbished and refurbished amps still good as new or no?

ese, it really depends if the brand is good or not. I've used refurbs and haven't had any problems, but if your budget is low and the amp is cheap, you can go for it.

A refurb should be the same quality or better than a brand new amp. At least that's what companies say.

Most of the time it's cheaper for the companies just to replace the whole board than try to troubleshoot and replace a specific part, most refurbs are essentialy a new amp in a used body

^^^^^yeah. They use an exterior old case but the interior AKA board is new

juliob its a hifonics titan series amp i think it puts out 1000rms into 1ohm its that good ill get that

how much power do you need? cuz if the model is TX1005D is overrated, it should put between 700-900w rms at 1 ohm. If the price is good, then get it. It should be lower than 160$ to be a bargain.

its the txd1005d and around 1000rms for two 15inch CVR's

that will work...but honestly i would give them around 1200-1400rms

I had an amp refurbished and it came back with more power and souded better than before it broke. Would definetely buy new or refurbished and not "used and abused!"

oh and chauncey im gona getting the HIFONICS TITAN TX1505D and its refurb so it might be good
