Wednesday, November 08, 2006 - 13:53 GMT 1 Farad RockFord Fosgate Cap... im guessing i hooked it up i have my amp off... s0o0o im going to probably use it the entire day with the amp off would that be goood enuff? I hooked it up waited like 3min r so and i played it and the cap still didn make diff for the dimming of the lights it made maybe the SLIGHTEST diffence my human eyes couldnt tell soo give it the day to charge?

Wednesday, November 08, 2006 - 14:07 GMT it shouldnt take a day to charge a cap did you just hook it up to your power wire? you need a resistor to charge it!

Wednesday, November 08, 2006 - 14:20 GMT take the resistor hook it to your power wire hook the resistor to the cap. turn key on. or start car. leave the radio off.

Wednesday, November 08, 2006 - 16:56 GMT should take <1 second, more with a resistor. To check the cap to see if its charged, use a 12 volt light bulb.
