I made a post about this last night but it disappeared. Is there any difference between expensive amp kits that cost like $80 and the eBay ones by cheap companies like Legacy for around $30?

the thickness of the wire. like if kicker has a 4gauge amp kit for 80 bucks and legacy has one for 30, the legacy wire is going to be thinner therefor may not be what you need. try to find a moderately priced one.

Isn't 4 gauge wire all the same thickness?

you would think, but seriously the lower end stuff is thinner. i mean its still good, but you may be limited on watts depending on what components you have.

knukonceptz sells some great yet still cheap wire and their prices fluctuate with the price of copper at the time. you can only go so cheap with copper wire before you lose money or have to blend with other materials, cut down on the number of strands, or who knows what else.
