I was worried my x1001 wasn't going to work because the main resistors are bubbled up on the top of them.. but it works fine :-) and I found out they can do that over time and it doesn't hurt the amp.

Thanks for the response.. I think I'm gonna keep my amp

Oh, and I have a kx1200.1, I'm trading/selling it to a guy on here because I don't really like it.. not enough places to hide it's ugliness in my trunk :-( ... I thought about throwing a towel over it but it would get hot :\

Thanks for the input, though, juliob :-)

My subs are 4 ohm SVC each :-)

The xtant x1001 can run safely @1ohm for a 1000+ watt output.

It can be run @.5 ohm (according to the email I got back from xtant yesterday) but only if the fan is set to HIGH and not for extended periods of time. .5 ohm is intended for competition not daily use so this wouldn't be a problem.

Anyways, my amp puts out 1000+watts RMS @ 2 ohms and 1ohm, 500watts RMS @ 4 ohms.. so it's a perfect match for my 2 88150.4's :-)
