do amps eventually die if they get way too hot if you are driving on a long road trip? and another thing how do u hook up a fan to cool it off?

yeah they can most likely you have a lower ohm on the amp than the amp can handle does it ever shut off? what subs and amp do you have? yeah you can connect a computer fan to your amp also or take off the lid from your amp.

you dont need any fans.. just put your amp gains correctly and the ohm should be set as correctly and dont put a 500 watts amp to a sub of 1000 watts rms

fans can be helpful too... they can save some time before your amp goes to protection mode.... also is the weather factor (temperature) can make an amp going to protection faster than usual
