all bridging the amp is putin out more power, and there really isnt anything to it. above the speaker terminals it should say "bridged" or somthin, and if it doesnt say that, ur amp cant be birdged. but on your sony amp it does 500 birgded @ 4 ohms, so just put the speaker wires into the "bridged" termainls on the amp and ur done -- and make sure the subs are wired to 4 ohms

Simply put no.
Bridging combines two channels to one.
+ from channel 1
- from channel 2.
What you want to do is run 2 subs off channel 1. Combining both subs to 1 channel making either a 8 ohm load, bad for subs, or a 2 ohm load, bad for amp and subs. either way it will sukc. Get another amp to power the subs and let that one power the 2 rear speakers.
BTW that amp bridged is 4 ohms only.

Just waiting for a motor to come along, and the title so I can register it.
Ya, while looking at the amp specs and typing you replied to at 10:44pm lol
"And a 2 omh load on ur amp isnt bad... lol "
In this case it would cause each sub would only see around 125 wrms. He wants to run 4 speakers
2 subs off 1 channel, 2 speakers off the other. so in this case it would not bump the subs with much juice.

I checking craigslist for a nice used one. Just waiting for some one to list one.

And theres nothing "cute" about car audio
Except those sexy Sony amps.

Seriously, its either 1 or the other. leave the subs on that amp, get another for the speakers, or put the speakers on that one and get a new, (good) amp for the subs.

PS a bridged amp won't put out any more power than the amp will in stereo, since when bridged it's only stable to double the load as it is in stereo.
2 channels @ 2 ohms = 1 bridged channel @ 4 ohms for output

^^^^^you need to get rid of that amp... check PA a1000db or audiobahn a8000t or V.... get the cheapest one but i know the PA can run at 1 ohm stable.
