Just got an 07 Tahoe w/Bose.Sounds ok,but I'm looking to upgrade a bit.Interested in adding some subs and amps. Can anyone tell me how hard it is to add on or bypass this system? Also where is the amp and sub located? All the bass sounds like it's coming from the dash. Thanks

hey guys thanks for the input, but at this point I'm more concerned with how hard (or expensive) it's going to be to add on or by-pass the Bose system, than I am with what I'm going to put in.Does anyone have any experience with add ons to this system? (amps, subs etc)

bypassing the system isn't hard at all. The hardest part about it is finding where the d@mn factory amp is. After that, all it is is cutting and re connecting the wires.

How much are you willing to spend on subs/amps?

at this point I really don't have a budget in mind.I would really just like to keep the factory setup as is and add some subs and another amp. Also I am hoping I can put the subs in the rear side panels since cargo space is pretty limited.
