I'm going to run 2 15HD3's off of a 4000RMS amp, not sure yet which ones but it'll be running 4-5k of power. Then add the amps for my components which will probaly be an extra 600rms. Then the HU and so forth. How many amps should I get in a HO alternator and how many batteries should I buy and which kinds to buy to run in the back. What type or RCA wires are good? Hmm, thats all I can think of. Also my car is a 99 GMC Yukon 4dr. Thanks for any advice.
You're going to need more than one alternator, to properly power this system at 14+ volts. Is this a daily driver? As far as batteries go.. Well, I'd say at least 4 good deep cycle batteries. Deep cycle is a must - since you're going to be dropping your voltage with that much power on a pretty regular basis.
