I can but i dont need that much power, it will be pushing an RE SX15 and even though those subs can take much more than the rated rms i dont really need it to.
guy had a pca1000d pushing 1 15" atomic ele sub then upgraded 2 a pca1500d model
so i would say from how it sounds it appears they def do put out rated power
& i agree with Juliob that u should still get the 1500 model coz its now that much more $$$ & having a oversized sub amp is generally better especially when that sx can easily handle it .....
