hey guys im planing on gettin a system 2 kciker cvr's 12"Impedance: 2 or 4 Ohms DVC 400watt rms each and a kicker amp 850 watt rms now it says RMS Power Output: 295W x 2 @ 4 Ohms can someone explain to me what this means, does it mean that 1 speaker is going to be gettin 295 watt @ 4 ohms from 1 channel of the amp? and if so how can this be since the amp is 850watt rms shouldnt it be gettin 425watt from 1 channel? and what are the differnce with 2 and 4 ohms.

less impedance= more output power (this can change for example JBL amps)

the amp is gonna put 425x2 at 2 ohms.

what you need is 2 CVRS dual 2 ohm and a kicker zx750.1 and wire it to a 2 ohm load

www.the12volt.com hit the link woofer wiring

so that's 425 divied by 2 which is 212.5 rms watts per speaker? also y would i want a mono block amp which is 1 channel for 2 speakers, unless u mean wire the speakers in series which is not going to be power full like parallel, unless i can wire them paralle.
