Hi Everybody,

I'm thinking to get kicker Amp & JL Sub,

I've 2 chosen 2 JL subs,

1x 12W6v2-D4 or 1x 12W7-3

Could you suggest the best matching amp for those subs?SQ is must,

i was looking at kicker website, they have 2 series, SX & ZX? What's the difference between them?

Another thing i wanted to ask u guys is, why i shouldn't go with multi channel or stereo amp instead of mono, again all i care is decent SQ.
(Appreciate your time & efforts to chip in)

on the 12w6, I would use the kicker sx650.1 or the kx 750.1, both are 2 ohm stable, on the 12w7, none of the kicker amps, i would use the JL 1000/1 or the Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1. You are going to have a ohm load problem trying to match up a 4 channel to those subs, and they are really not meant to run subs, mainly for mids and highs....

thanks for the post, what is the differance between SX650.1 & KX750.1? why kx750.1 is almost $90 less than sx650.1 but with more watts? which one is better sx or kx?

thanks ty, one more question... i was looking at the specs sheet of JL sub: 12W6v2-D4
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=4
& it says Dual 4 ohm, & SX650.1 is 2 ohm? am i looking at the right amp? or there some other reason that 2 ohm amp goes with 4 ohm sub?
(sorry to ask you all this stupid questions, i'm very new to all this stuff)
