2 amps to one sub

if a DVC sub, an amp on each VC, or you could strap amps

Well its a Treo TSX I have two alpine mrd 605 amps from my last setup and if i dont have to buy a new amp to power it decently then i wont but can someone tell me if this is a good way to go or not?

i think you would only get around 800 watts into that sub. because ur amp does 400 x 1 @ 4 ohms

sub = DVC

amp on each VC = 400 + 400 = 800.

someone correct me if i'm wrong

yea so it would be around 1000 to 1100 with them wired at 2 ohms right. it wouldnt get all that power because in my car it would be running at around 12.5 to 13.5 volts or thats just what the amps said when they where on.

so what is a good amp that is relativly cheap? Someon told me the JBL BP1200.1 is good for my needs.

the JBL is nice, rovin the PA is ok, but to push a sub at 1 ohm (won't put too much power at 2). Check strapping amplifiers, so you can get like 2000w rms at 2 ohms for the treo if you want

Ok i have a few questions...need help so please answer....ok...if i buy a line out converter...can i just hook it up near the rear speakers...like splice into them...or should i go behind the Head unit and splice them into the speaker wires...and one more question....does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram with color codes for a 2003 Doddge Durango SLT...or if ya dont' wanna do that then...where should i wire the remote turn on wire...and i need steps to do that for...and since i have a stock radio... i need to know the best place to hook the remote wire into too..thanx..

great amp, and is underrated, 2 ohm stable. I saw 2 birth sheets 1626w rms and 1700w rms.

what amplifiers are pretty good that are strapable? I know the eD nine amp can. would it be good to get one of those for now and then later on get another one to double the power to the sub?
