Opinions on Alpine ERA-G320?

Anyone have anything terrible to say about the Alpine ERA-G320? I'm looking for something with a bit of color as I got a comment, "What, no color on the HU? How old is that?" My HU is a Alpine 9855 I paid a little over $400 for less then a year ago. :-(
