im getting ready to do the big 3 on the new truck ad i took a look at it and the power wire from the alt goes into the fuse box then out to the battery would it be ok to use a fuse on the line or do i have to run it through the fuse box
just run it straight from the alt to the bat. and leave stock wiring in place. there has been a big debate over wether or not to put a fuse on the positve wire for big three. its your choice some peopel do some dont, personally i dont have mine fused. if you want to put a fuse on put it close to the battery
