Battery help

ok i just recently installed subs into my car and i ran them on my car battery and it went dead within a matter of one month. I took it to O'Reilly and they said i need to run a separate battery if i am going to run subs. what do i do?

How did you wire your subs? What amp are you using to power them?
Did you follow the instructions carefully?
Using a DMM, monitor the voltage on the amp. If it's somewhere between 13v - 14v, then the alternator's doing it's job. If it drops below 12.5v, then the amp is getting all of it's power from the battery. This will kill your battery in matter of hours/days.
You can't guess at a problem, you really need to solve it systematically.

i got a low out converter and i just wired them into the rear speakers, i am using a 640 watt multi channel kenwood amp
