I recently bought 3 Alpine MRP-M450 amps to power 3 JL 10W6v2's. I'm having difficulties thinking how to interconnect the amps together. In the manual it suggest running Y-Splitters from the RCA's to each amp. The problem with this is each amp would only be getting 1-1.3 volts because of the 4 prevolt output on the HU. I'm worried that would sound terrible. I've also thought about purchasing a line driver and individual RCA cables to run from that. My question is, are line drivers worth the extra money, and if you happen to know of a good one, feel free to recommend;) Thanks
Line drivers are worth the money, They can add alot of "clarity" to a system. Look at line drivers from Audiocontrol. Good company. Look at the "epicenter", or the "epic160".
