Elo there. So I bought myself a pair of Type R 12" subs, a pair of Kenwood 1000watt 2ch amps, and a dual sub ported box to bring it all together. Now my q is, how do I wire it up? Would I need another battery? A system like this will kill the alternator/battery for sure if I wired it up like I would one amp. ANyone got a diagram maybe? Thx
u can hit me up on AIM at GraveReaper0.

So I been snooping around and also found out I need a corssover because my head unit has only one output. So to get two outputs for each amp, I would a 2-way crossover, or a 3 way crossover? My noobie skills are telling me 2, am I right?

You should be able to just take an RCA from one amp to the other.

For the other wiring, just get some distribution blocks. Run 0 gauge to the back, then take some 4 gauge out to each amp. 4 gauge grounds to another DB from the amps and then a final 0 gauge ground to the chassis

Yea I did some more research and seems like I'll just end up doing that. And if the car can't take the power consumption, it can get fixed with a capacitor.
