WTF! I have a Audiobahn A8000V running it at 4 ohms(400wrms). Toady I had to stop because they are doing some road construction and while I was stopped I was thumpin Living right by B.G.(Song bumps good) and I noticed the volt meter dancing from like 11V to 14V each time the bass hit. At only 400WRMS!!! I heard that amp takes 20 amps to work, but it taking way more? COULD IT BE A BAD GROUND?

i say its a bad ground.

also why don't you upgrade the big 3 so you can have better current flow. that should help out alot.

Upgrade big 3? on stock alt? Would that be cheap, and if I do get a H.O. alt the big 3 would be in already.

stock alt, idle, prob a slow regulator, prob a cheap stock battery...sounds kinda expected if you ask me.

even with a HO Alt you will still see dimming and voltage drops at idle. unless you get one that has a higher output at idle.
