I have 1 set of the Infinity 62.7i speakers to put in the front of my car. I was looking for suggestions for a 2 or even 4 channel amp to power the speakers. They run at 2 ohm 95W RMS and 225W max. I am looking to spend around $100 (give or take) and I'm willing to buy used on ebay.
I currently have an MTX Thunder 282. It is a 2 channel amp that puts out 140W RMS x 2. Does that mean that it has 140 W per channel and would be overpowering, or 70W RMS to each channel? Becuase I have seen people use it both ways.
