i got an Alpine v-12 MRD-M605

this is my fist system and i dont know much about the settings can someone help me out
ie. subsonic filter, low pass corssover....etc..

Your gain (level) u should match the voltage to ur HU. Your LPF should be set around 60hz i think or a little lower.

yeah i was wondering about best sound out of this amp too...im not sure what to set it for...i have the alpine 9847 as my head unit

i always use the HU crossovers mianly and the amp as back up, in a way.

set the speakers at 100Hz high pass at 12dB per octave. set the speaker amp at 80-90Hz high pass at 12dB per octave.

set the subs at 80Hz low pass at 24dB per octave and the amp around 90-100Hz at 24dB.

that way you aren't interfering one crossover with the other and will be sure not to get anything too low to the speakers or too high to the subs.
