should i go with two strapped kicker kx600.1's

or try the class a/b instead of class d with this amp

Definately go with the two kickers. Class D is much better for subs anyways, as they're more efficient.

what are you trying to run, it is going to be no less then 4ohms if strapping those amps, they are only 2ohm stable if it is the kx series.

i cant strap two kickers even if i wanted to

what amps have you guys been suggesting for the 12w7?

im shopping for 800rms @ 3ohm

JL 1000/1 or 500/1
PG Xenon 1200.1 or 600.1

or you'll have to look for something that puts out around 1200 - 1500 watts at 4 ohms to get 750 at 3 ohms.

wow that phoenix xenon 1200.1 only puts out 600rms and 1200 peak

pretty amp though

anyway i was lookin for an alternative to the $600.00 jl 1000/1

but with features like 24db low pass filter
24db subsonic down to 15hz
and rated power @ 11V-14.5V

PLUS it tells you how to set your amp gain with a volt meter to ensure its not clipping

thats second to an oscilliscope and 'lab tested' better then trying to adjust by ear

im a lil choked on cash thats all

now im in a boo-hoo mood :-(

the JL 500/1 gives out 580W rms to 640W RMS in lab tests... Should be plenty...
