how do you find out if something is cea rated? is tehre a listing somewhere

thanks mike.. so if a company is not in compliance with cea will they usually give phony ratings?

No. That's not necessarily the case at all. It's just a secure feeling to know when the company/amp does comply. It's best to know by experience or knowing someone with the actual amp. Forums are good in this regard. It's not like how a speaker "sounds." I mean, either it produces its rated power or it doesn't.
