if i have a four channel amp, can i run a 2 ohm load to one set of channels, and a 4 ohm load to the other set?

i have one set of components that are single 4 ohm and the other set is single 2 ohm. there shouldnt be a porblem, right?

If the amp goes into protection mode, it means it's either not 2ohm stable or the gain/level wasn't set correctly.
