Im STILL getting as buzzin noise for the amp!

i posted a topic on here not so long ago, and someone told me that the buzzin cud be commin from the alternator. i put the lead opposite side of the car and checked every cable twice over, and im still getting that annoying buzzing noice commin from the speakers! someone plz help!

Sounds like clipping to me. If your sub/speakers are making the buzzing sound, your amp is clipping very bad. Maybe turn the gains down.

Its a big problem. very hard on equipment. Just try turning gains down on your amp(S) and see if that helps.

If the sound is still there even when there is no music playing then how would it be clipping. Its most likely a ground loop. Try grounding all of your equipment at the same place. And try using a different source of power for your HU, The cars fuse block is a noisey place.

I said "if", he never said anything either way. If the problem was due to clipping then it would buzz at high volumes, or if the amp was damaged due to clipping.
