Okay I just hooked up my subs and amp. I am getting no sound. The amp is getting power though. Setup: 2 SPL JWS ( same as JL W6 V1s) 12" DVC 6 Ohm 1 JL Audio 500/1 amp. Below are diagrams of the setup. First one is the outside of the box. The second is of the inside of the box. Any questions, just ask. Thanks. Upload

What filters? Settings on HU are fine. What should the input sensitivity be set on? Gains set to what? What terminals?

I checked the voltage, it's fine. Also, I hooked the remote directly and still nothing. And I noticed that even when the remote is not hooked to anything I still have a power light on on the amp. How is that? I also might switch out the RCAs.

Not sure what to set the HPF, LPF, SSF and the rest to. Yea, all of the HU's settings are fine. I'll check the terminals, I thought that that was what you meant, just wanted to make sure. What about the power light being on with out the remote wire being hooked up?

you shouldn't get any kind of lights or output without the REM wir ehooked up. unless you have the amp set for signal sensing.

Well what if I am (without it being setup for signal sensing), what then?

sorry i thought it sed u had 2 amps! my mistake. is it the same thickness as the positive (+) wire. i think your got a bad connection of the ground wire. i had the same problem with my amp (the light was on even though the REM was not plugged connected) i just reconnected my ground in a different position and it worked!

OK. Figured it out. Something in the wiring. I hooked it up normally and they work fine. Somehow I have wired the parallel/parallel wrong. This happened last time, when I had my Audiobahns(can't believe that I even typed that word). I was trying to run them series/parallel. I will try to get a pic up of my wiring soon.
